Can any body help. I have a 37ld8700 Hitachi ( Vestel origin) on digital  I am unable to change the language set the menu with this function is missing and the service menu is of no assistance.

Hi,
thank you to all who looked at this problem to see if they knew what the problem was.
I managed to locate the fault to the digital (DVB) board, replacing this cured the fault and as  I did not have a circuit of the digital board I was unable to to investigate further
