how to test hr 7898 flayback
tv have no picture ,sound was good,if take 20M resistor betwenn gnd (mass) and G2 picture is back

20 meg between (G2) A1 and deck (mass) giving black seems normal - so what do you get normally ? give us lots'a piccies and such - Chris.

Check the ABL circuit, pin 8 of the LOPTX, not sure of your circuit maybe RR401(1K), R411(100K), R412(100K) and C405(100n).
