I got one of these power supplies with a blown fuse. Am I better fitting repair kit from CHS or fitting a new board. The board is about twice the price of kit..in other words how effective is the kit and has anyone fitted on with success. Tx

hi the kits uaualy work iv never had an issue .i fitted a kit to a 17pw15-8 today set fired up perfectly good luck rgds dave

the kits dont always work, best to do additional checks of your own, would recomend you start with the smoothing block as they are very common to fail (dont think there in the kit) causing all the components you just fitted to fail again.
