LG 42LG3000 PIC PROBS

Hi all this LG when switch on pic dark with vertical lines running down screen if bend or tap fault clears switch of for few mins fault comes back any help thanks dave.

hi mate sounds like a tcon issue try disconnecting the tcon lead give the connections a clean up and re attach may work / cheers .dave

Had this fault on a vestel tv also set has no pic just bright white with dull vertical grey bands top to bottom.           put me out of my missery is this screen fault.

id try the tcon first before writing it off as unfortunatly as i have found out to my expense with some samsung screens the tcon fault is similar to a knackerd screen le32r87bd to be exact stay clear of them sets ..i do have some samsung signal panels used in vestel tvs let me know the number if i have one i can send it to you and you can find out either way .rgds dave
