lg 42lg5000 42" intermittant fault

Hi,
I had a same tv las month and there was no other way than replacing the main board, psu did work
I had a colours on scart one and the the same screen by hdmi

i was thinking of changing the mainboard but as they are £50  i was holding off waiting for a set with smashed screen to turn up
i think i will buy one now
