I have a 3 year old 37pf9731d Philips Ambilight LCD TV. Every now and again it will turn itself off and back on again (with no help), completely (power relays clicking etc.) which is annoying as it's now used for gaming ! It makes no odds as to how long it's been on or if the Ambilight is on, or if it's component / HDMI input, and can happen every hour or once in 6 hours.
I know it's a FJ3.0E LA chassis and I have the service manual for it, but where would I start looking ?? I have some basic electronics skills / meter / soldering iron, so any pointers are a plus !
