sparkman001:
Hi everyone. Does anyone have any experience of this set, its badged Hyundai E320D the type is LT32DW002 manufactured May 2008 and has seen very little use. As far as Ive ascertained the PSU is working and voltages are correct, the set powers up to the green LED but there is no pic, sound, or backlight and no response from the remote. I am almost certain this is a motherboard fault. Has anyone experienced this fault and found a solution? Is there a motherboard common with another set, the motherboard is labelled Hyundai Imagequest 3041001119 02? any. Service info on this set is almost non-existant so any help would be appreciated.

Hi, you may be in E-Saver mode.
If you have the user manual at hand check the section on E-Saver, (if it's the same type as I saw a year ago) I had to use a torch to light up the panel, go into menu got to E-Saver and turn off. I don't have a manual at hand, I'll try and check back see if I can find more info or any note I wrote down.

Hi Frank, thanks for that, I dont have a manual for it. When I light the screen with a torch, initially there is a very faint 'raster' which seems to disappear after a few seconds. For info, Ive replaced the inverter board with a known good one with no results. The remote or keypad on the tv, have no effect on the set once its powered on, so I couldnt select any menu, even if I could see it with a torch. Does anyone know the service mode access code on power on?

Just checked on the model I had the problem with and it was an HLT32EH3T, the problem you describe was similar to the one I had, the screen was dificult to see with the torch (at a side angle), I got intouch with Hyundai they couldn't tell me how to get out of E-saver, thats why the torch method.
Select Menu with the remote control.
