Goodmans GTVL37W9HD

Hi all new to this forum
Problem i have is got a Goodmans has sound but no picture could it be the invrter? There seems to be light on the screen so do think its the backlight.
Any ideas on this

Hi andt1968,

With sound, and checking from the back that the backlghts are working, usual cause is LVDS - might just be an on-board fuse O/C.

LVDS panel is attached to the top rear of the screen and often a pain to get to. If you follow the thick lead from the main board that dives under metalwork, you'll find it.

Only fault I have listed is IC2 with blown top - doesn't seem likely - Chris.

Where should i check for the fuse, Are the LVDS repairable or is it a case of replace

Hi again, you're too fast,

Check amended previous - check for fuses and/or post a decent piccy so we can identify LVDS and fuses (they tend to be rather small). As to replacements, Ebay can be the biz - go for a screen smash only - there's lots of crap about -  Chris.
