This sharp has dead fault led green but wont start up     TV has come on very int thanks .Digi Dave.

When you say dead fault; do you mean no power indicator light or any signs of power to unit?
Have you checked the power cord, Voltage to unit, Fuse, Bridge rectifier? First things first, Make sure you have 120 VAC to the unit then go from there. Keep me posted? Triumphantcc@yahoo.com

the supply voltage in uk 240 in usa 120v
check the earthing screws on the inverter
they can cause a few strange faults

Hi, try this, press 'input' and 'volume -'  on the TV button panel and hold down, then power the set on. If it powers on you should see a 'K' on the screen, press vol- and prog + and you will enter the service mode. scroll through it and reset the backlight error to 0, then power down and restart. Hopefully it will come on as normal. It may be that you have a faulty backlight tube, so try that first.

Could you sometime get the tv working ?
Take looong time before the picture come ?

Yes it does sometimes start up but when unplug tv goes back to just green or amber led .
