samsung le40b620r
« on: February 17, 2011,04:09:53 »
Hi all, I have a samsung le40b620r which (according to the customer) switches off intermittantly. I have run it for five days & can't make it go off. It uses a bn44-00264a combined psu/inverter. Anything known on this model? Doug

Hi Dave, Yes I think you may have hit the nail on the head, the switch does seem hyper sensitive. Does one normally change the control board? Doug

Hi Dave, I,ve fitted a paper pad between the on/off switch & the front of the set thus disabling only the switch. i.e. vol,ch, led still work. Fingers crossed it's going back to the customer tonight. Thanks a lot, Doug
