Sharp LC37X20E pic fault

The lines on screen are wavey and not all the way across screen' also some run vertical from top but only  1cm long.   may order tecon to check?

Now you tell us probs can be vertical. Never met vertical tubes - gives us more piccies if you fancy it.

Hi,
Just come across this post, but replying now for future reference.

This is a common problem on this model.
The diffuser  behind the LCD panel has a plastic membrane on it,
and this bubbles/separates from the main plastic panel.
There is a mod. kit to replace the diffuser screens (3) at about £100

Hi,
As far as I know, they're only available from Sharp themselves.
Not sure if they can be reclaimed from a faulty, display of the
same size etc.
Attached is some more info. on the repair procedure.
