Acoustic solutions lcd26761hdf black screen when switched on ???

Hi guys, ive had my acoustic solutions 26" lcd26761hdf for around 2 years and regularly use it in my xbox room :) but today, ive switched the tv on and it started in stanby, i hit the power button on, and nothing!!! just a black screen. when in stanby, the power light is lit blue as normal, but i just cant get any picture! any ideas? im not really good with tvs but any help on how i could fix it would be very much apreciated ! cheers

hi mate is there any sound ? if there is you will probably need a new inverter panel otherwise more likely a power supply issue i have some spares if you can provide board numbers etc may be able to help .rgds dave

Got the tv open, ive lost sound altogether now, and picture totally gone, was having a dark shadowy picture but nowt now. still getting the standby light but thats about it.  :sign0085 Any help towards finding the problem would be really helpful cheers Ian

PSU: IC802, C802 and C934. Change them.

or

PSU: C877, C878, IC807 (KA3525A), IC802 (FAN7529). Change them.

Be wary of main smoothing block capacitor, it'll give a wallop. Better still, take it to TV repair shop.
