TV Diagnostika for LCD TV's

<< < (2/2)

Turnip:
Hi tellyman,

You don't actually say anything concrete about this 'diagnostics biz' course. Confess got my C&Gs in Radio/Tv also Electronics servicing well back in the early 60's

Perhaps somewhat out of date - Chris.

Ohm Supplies:
Hello all.

The diagnosica is a clever idea and quite neat by all accounts.

From what I understand it works by "mimicking the job of the main board by adding a switch on voltage"

This isn't a new concept on repairing a board but it comes in one neat, tidy package,

it does have a few draw backs, from the feed back I've read it doesn’t always work, needs a different lead for each board (these are available separately) and is the most expensive way I’ve come across of doing the job but it’s a nice idea.
I’ve never met Mr I personally but I’m glad to hear he’s at the forefront of electronics. His family must be so proud,

Regards
Andy

brainstorm:
Hi

Ive got one of these adaptors and on the whole they work very well, there was only once that I used it and it failed to work so I am happy with it so far, the biggest drawback is that it only works with a few manufacturer's ie Philips and Samsung, so I haven't been able to use it as much as i would like.

I bought it to try and support someone who is trying to invest in our industry and if it does take off then i'm sure he will produce more adaptors
