sourcing broken electronics

I am new to the repair game but have always taken things appart to see how they work i work in computers but would love to repair things in my own time. When i go to the tip i see loads of electronics that are just dieing to be fixed but we carnt take aything from the tip just wondering if anyone knows of any ways of getting broken electricals free or really cheap thanks

Suspect a recent deletion by a justly (and sometime whimsical) near super hero where 'Tinny' and 'Tar brushes' have featured recently and would have kept this thead a bit more 'sensible'

A real 'Red starred' Quuq hero, this chap - Grovelling - Chris

PS - Would suggest that on a deletion, some sort of thread filler would be the biz to prevent foolish Quuq 'heros' feeling even less than heroic.

 - Ah well.
