Goodmans LD3261HDFVT - Vestel - sound but no piccy

Have one of these with sound, backlight and a dark screen. Note from back threads that the screen/LVDS  has been a problem. Anyone had similar ?  17PW20-V2 and 17MB22-2   -   Chris

Have you tried the usual fuse on T-Con?. Did have some boards somewhere i will see if i still have them somewhere.

Checked and found fuse CP101 marked 'P' (3A) O/C. Got nothing smaller than a Wickman - wonder who does SMD fuses at a realistic price ?

Was fun as I still had a few of those CPC/Farnell microscopic fuses kicking about - used 2 x 2A in parallel with enormous difficulty holding the little buggers down while soldering - bring back 'Dorman-Smith' screw-in 13A fuses, poor contact caused plugs/sockets to catch fire - warmed us in the cold Post War 40s

Set worked so guess it was a spurious pop - thanks again - Chris.
