laptop wireless problem?
«

I have an
acer aspire timelinex notebook
, I am having an issue with the wireless connection. I am broadcasting through an iMac and using WEP Security but the laptop does not ask me for any password. I have went to Control Panel and deleted all the other Profiles in the Network Section. If i take the password off and try to connect to it, it works and i can use the internet and everything but when i put the password it stops working. I have updated my Network Drives. Any help would be appreciated, and one more thing I have Comcast connected to the Imac which is broadcasting the connection.

if it works ok without why do you want to use with a password, normally secure setting should be set on
comcast or router without this the laptop will normally connect ok and so will anybody else who is nearby?
