Hi i am having trouble with my philips tv 28pw6506/05 I think it allso goes by L01.1E Anyway i have taken it apart and cant find any bad or lose cons while i was there i blew the dust out, i think it has a power surge when it turns on and that shuts it off again. It does start but after several trys. I have done a ellectronics coarse so i do how to solder and yes some of the caps hold their power when tv is off. What i need is a schematic of the set and the currents that should be reaching the parts that may be givving me the problem. Am i correct in thinking that a service manual will provide me with tha answers i need and where can i get one in pdf for free?
