lg42 300za screen issues

hi all has anybody managed to crack the gradual whiteout on these screens i have 2 and one if left running for ten mins will correct itself if given a light tap on the top left i have scoured for a d/j even though i would expect the tv to fail when warm not cold ?? any suggestions greatly appreciated

I got one of these in with half the pic ok and the other half of the screen white. Moving the top of the screen would make it flash. I inserted folded card where the ribbon cables come out and its now been running fine for 3 days. Only time will tell if its cured.

many thanks friend will give it a try i was reluctant to put blame on the screen as it seems when the slightest tough left or right on the stand would correct the issue its like a poor connection but im buggered if i could find it yet .dave
