Grundig 27inch strange fault no model number

Here is one for you people...sorry in advance fr no model number but someone may have come across this one before

The TV turns itself off, the problem being it only does it on BBC1 and no other channel, it has apparantly been doing it for 1year been retuned etc and only does it in Freeview.

Anyone come across this sort of fault before.

I have seen similar faults a few times on these sets, never got to the bottom of it, seems like software probs, but there doesn’t seem to be any backup about for the sets.
