at the top of the post you say the set was a grundug 32 "
when asked for the model number you say its a Goodmans LD3202
sadly not got a dump for the goodmans model
My bad. It's a GOODMANS LD3202, I had a senior moment when I typed Grundig (because the other set on my bench at the moment is a Grundig) I've edited the original post as well to save any more confusion.
Anyway my blank eeprom arrived today and I've fitted it, but it has made no difference (i.e set still forgets all settings after a power cycle, just like it does with no eeprom fitted)
Now excuse my ignorance as this is the first time i've had an eeprom fault on a set. I kind of hoped just plugging a blank one in and all would be well. Obviously not.
Now do I program the replacement eeprom, and in the highly likely event that I don't have the means to do it, is there a forum member willing to do it for me.
By the way another oddity of this set at the moment is the remote control is very unresponsive. It's not the remote control itself, but what happens if you press ANY button on the remote, it will do what you press, but then it won't respond to another RC command for 10 seconds
