LG 32LC2D - power
« on: October 30, 2011,10:19:21 »
Hi folks,

Have one of these in today where mum said that kids (half term and bored) had chucked it on the floor. Had a look and usual S/by caps were bulgy so changed them.

No go, and found mains fuse O/C and bridge rectifier duff one section - this lead to F9223L chopper chip with a short.

Wonder if any LG expert on Quuq would suggest a insurance claim, or advise on a profitable repair - Chris.

Hi Sparky, and thanks.

Checked about but can find no kit - any ideas ? As for a new panel - bit doubtful 'till I check screen is intact, looks allright but never can tell.

Thanks again - Chris.
