LG 37LH3000 Main Board Needed

OK, further to my last post - here is a photo of the symptoms now, which is with its original board back in.

Just as a sanity check, I put the 'new' replacement board back in, and still only get a plain black backlit panel, so it would appear that its either not compatible, or a duffer.

I've whipped the cover off the T-CON board, and somewhat predictably, there is nothing to see.

Just to update this, I now have a working TV :)

Turned out to be corrosion on the LVDS cable following its soaking, and one contact on the ribbon cable had lifted and folded back on itself (my fat thumbs to thank for that one!).  A bit of patience, and a bit of control exercised over my thumbs, and the TV is now working beautifully.

A mention in despatches to in_focus, who not only recommended this forum to me, but has been extremely helpful with advice to nudge me in the right direction. :)
