Toshiba 37"

Hi all, I have a Toshiba 37rv635d which is very reluctant to come out of standby. When it eventually does come on its fine. Anything known? Cheers, Doug

Hi Doug,Check D881(LT8728) on the power supply they go leaky ,or check any of the similar type of diodes on the panel they give various faults int dead jumping,lines etc.Earlybird

Hi, Changed said diode & checked others but fault is still there. Could it be a software problem??

Customer just informed me that she has a 3 year guarantee from Currys!!!! Don't you just love it when that happens? Must increase my service charge. Doug.
