Just a wee quick note had a few of these DVD Combi's in lately you can spot it its the set the dvd player sticks out in a half circle from the side of the TV.
They were reported as " dead ". If the recommended fuse was in the plug it was also blown. The fault was in the wee mains filter coil on the left hand side of the power supply primary, theres 2 sit together but it seems to be the left hand one thats burnin up. Might save someone a bit of heart ache I didnt spot it till I actually unsoldered it from the board and noticed charing on the blue caps which sit next to it
