Samsung LE40A686M1FXXU - Half Screen Slow and Blurred

Hi All,

I've got a Samsung LE40A686M1FXXU - the screen is half blurred and ghosts.
It was intermittent but is now permanent....
Is it the TCON board or a CCFL ??
Any help greatly appreciated as xmas on its way and I want to watch all the movies and play on my PS3 !!

Have to agree with dave.Not familiar with this model,but if its got twin ribbons from t con to screen might be worth cleaning/reseating ribbon on side thats faulty.But its prob screen.
