Andy m8 ...I think you misread or misunderstood what I posted ..
I dont object to selling programmed eproms ...
That takes time ..effort and money invested in shipping and writing them ..
I do object to high prices for eprom dumps ..as the code inside is strictly speaking not anyones ..but the manufactures to sell ..
I give them first coup on this ...If they want to make the data available at a reasonable price ..then I'll say ..thank-you..
But ..they dont generally ..so it takes amateurs to access and make the contents available ...so I say ...lets share this info ...or at least only sell it for a nominal amount..
it is data ..and costs little as it doesn't have to be posted or packaged..just archived and made available..

would you be offended if someone bought a programmed eprom or spi flash off you .....read its contents ..and made the contents available on a forum like this one ?
