This Time a Technika X22/14E

The set is working ...but displays message 'database empty'..
Selecting scan for new channels finds nothing ..
Reset an first time install ...again finds nothing scanning freeview ...database empty..
The set goes through the motions ..displaying a scan progress bar ..but completes far too quickly ..approx 10 seconds full scan ..
Exposing the main board it was possible to check for supplies on the tuner ...but nothing above 3v on 2 pins ..and nothing on the others.
I have no circuit ..and cannot identify which tuner pin does what..
..but I'm sure this is a missing tuning voltage ..which shoud be at least 15>20volts
Of course ..its impossible to investigate and search for a missing supply line easily ...as there is no service info ..either for the main board ..or the XuYang DTT-8S1C/T1146 Tuner unit..
If anyone has service info ...manual ...or just a schematic I'd have half a chance ...
Anyone??
The last resort is to ignore the tuner and fit a freeview box ...but the customer is a 95 year old lady who has enough problems just using the TV ....adding a freeview box and another remote ..would have her totally bewildered..
