SONY KDL-40V2000

Hope this helps someone!! I've just got a Sony KDL-40V2000 up and running again!! This set came in with the following symptom - blank screen/no picture. Investigations showed that the backlights were operational and all voltages on the power board were correct. The set was brought back to life by acquiring a new T-con board. This is the small board fitted at the top of the chassis under a metal frame. There are three connectors on this - one at the bottom (data) and two flexible ribbon cable connectors at the top which go to the LCD panel. Replacement board cost around £20.  Board No. is 400WSC4LV0.4

Happy you got a result m8 ...but chances are it is nothing more than an o/c surface mount fuse on the Tcon board ..
Find it ..and repair it if you can ..that way you might help someone else by selling it on for the same price ..
