Some of us Quuq folks are technicians - we try mend but don't always have the maths of engineers who don't actually mend anything but theorise for ever about the mending biz.

PS -  Glad you didn't mention later Philips tubed sets where M/proc probs clouded me pink specs, then more recent ones that won't DVB update.
