Hi folks,

Have one of these where OSG indicates sound but there's none on either speakers or phones, Scart out is OK, sound output chip has voltages and gets warmish  Main - B.LT712C
Any common faults known ?   Thanks, Chris.

Hi Chris did one of these over the weekend with not quite the same problem sound kept coming and going and slight flicker to the screen at the same time .
Caps looked ok but output voltages slighty off, changed them and seemed to cure problem (no esr meter as yet )
Worth a shot to check them

 Checked and PS caps looked OK (have had many bulgy ones on this model)

Had a spare Main, and replacement did the biz - admit Ebay has loads of 'em - cheap. Technika/Neon for me and that needy pound - Chris

always found these to be pretty good for the price and pretty straight forward to repair . They look good and sell well !
