Sony KDL-22BX200 - no inverter

Hi folks,
Got one of these where sound is OK but inverter does not fire up. Noticed that C2006(1000/16) on inverter supply feed was bulgy so replaced it.
Checked inv supply at 14v and inv transformer dual secondaries OK at 1.2k.
Checked the 4 tubes - OK  - Any thoughts ? Thanks - Chris.

look on inverter board had a funny looking smf near top of panel
looks like a small coil not easy to spot

got one of these in for repair myself, but I get the backlight for a split second, transformer winding measures slightly different but not by much, tested inverter with working lamps and the top two don’t fully light up, bottom two light ok, so I have guessed the transformer is dicky.have ordered one from china, will post results when it arrives

Hi folks and thanks,

Sparky - found that white smurf (F2002  3A) it was OK. Thanks Daz - admit I got no initial flash so now suspect driver FAN7314 (infamous on 17IPS01-2)  Could be that PS ripple with that duff cap crapped it - off to Ebay-China.

Note that trannie NYD741FC(Sammy) is pin similar - have a pile of 'em, but secondaries are 700 Ohms. Only mention as some Quuqer might want some - cheapish.  Confess original Sammy cust paid for a dozen - happily - Chris.

PS - Cust proudly bought this set as a real Sony, but from Tesco - didn't say a word.
