Evening All
I have a samsung ps42b450b1wxxu which im trying to fix for my brother ...
When i switch it on i get sound and picture - But picture start's off very slow to come up ( bit's at a time )
spreading over the screen ...
After picture has filled whole screen it is totally unwatchable - though you can see the program a little bit as if it's a very poor signal ...
But aerial is ok ...
Has anyone had this problem - and what was at fault ?
Is it a case of a Board on it's way out ? - and any idea which Board ?
Tried searching on here but did'nt come up with anything ...
Any advice much appreciated ...

*****UPDATE*****
Well i changed Logic Board and made no difference and Led 2 on logic board still flashing so i take it that's normal ?
What else could be the problem ?
When i switch on the picture starts off a little bit at a time and gradually spreads out across the screen when it has filled the whole screen it is totally unwatchable ...
But there is picture and sound even if it is unwatchable ...
Is screen Knacked or another board ???
Any advice much appreciated

Hello m8 ,
Z-sus ?
If you mean Y-sus ?
I Had a visual look at it but can't see anything wrong with it ...
Y-Main cap's look ok and can't see any dry joint's ...
Y-Buffer look's ok ...
X-Main cap's look ok and can't see any dry joints ...
X-Buffer look's ok ...
If you mean have i tested it - wouldnt know where to start unless it's something simple i'd need to check ?
Do you think it could be Y-Main at fault ... Did you see picture's i posted ?
