JVC LT32DT8ZJ Original Remote wont work
scooby-doo:
Hi
Had a problem where the TV had a mind of its own...pressing the buttons (on TV) just did random things not what they are supposed to do...without realising I held two of the buttons to long and all the TV did was say shipping mode on the tv and now nothing works...if I turn the tv on it just goes to virgin install screen and the origianl remote wont let me carry forward to reinstall all services
I think previosuly the main board has issues and was wondering if anyone has service manual or an other info on the tv.
Cheers in advance

Have finally sorted the TV...When I took the back off I found the connector for the side button controls were a bit ropey so I just resoldered. I also found that the board that had been replaced previously was not screwed to the chassis tightly..in fact the screws were completely loose...the board wasnt getting a good earth...it certainly played havoc to the hdmi connections...either no signal or the picture would just go streaky.
Fixed the board, tightened it correctly and now everything seems to work fine HDMI works perfect so fingers crossed the TV will sorted
Thanks again

Hi again...this tv has been used in my front room now since my last post and then all of a sudden today the fault returned.
The tv will automatically just start turning itself over...and the volume graphic keeps popping up...I managed to fix it again by disconnecting one of the main boards 17mb22 starting up the tv without it...then reconnect and the fault goes away...when the fault is there none of the buttons on the remote do anything if the tv is off the remote will power it up but that is it and the side function buttons do all sorts of unusal things
Any help appreciated
