this set came in with sound problems...after about 24hrs sound would go off...ive check the norm,caps,dj's ex..any idears lads....

wharfedale lcd42f1080p no sound

Only got a couple of remedies listed for this fault:

- Hardwire 5V supply from power supply board to main SSB board.

- Replace two 1000uF caps on the bottom left of power supply board (sorry, no circuit references).
