had this set in today with an intermitent standby fault.when it dose decide to come on it stays on for about five seconds..had the back of cant see any bad caps.cant check cap cause cap meter just died on me.so sent it back..any idears lads..thankyou chrissie..

First solution:
Resistance across C-115 is lower then 22K,remove glue underheath C-115
Seckond solution:
On SSB board is some micro SW botton(reset botton SW 1001)-change or poot out :08:

The manual is included to aid "engineers" If anyone has trouble locating components with the manual they shouldnt be in the trade. Mulja suggested a quiz to weedle out non technical people, of which there appears to be an increasing amount
