Alba LCD32880HDF Dead set.

Hi

I've no sound or picture on this set.

It uses a Vestel p/s 17PW26-4. The wickman fuse is o/c (F800) 3.15 amp.

Has anyone any ideas what has blown the fuse ?

do the basics,check for shorts.otherwise they will give you a bad name like they are giving me..since ive had my blue stars.sad f**kers.

Hi Guys,

Yes of course checked for short circuits.
Found Q813, Q814 s/c & R861 o/c decided to order a p/s kit (ohm supplies) 
Fitted the parts, up she came.
Tested all fine.
24 hours later the set went dead again, this time found the 5 amp mains fuse o/c plus the 3.15 amp wickman o/c.
After further tests found the bridge rec D800 s/c replaced all now up and running again.
I think I leave it on soak test for a day or two.
