Wharfedale LT26KC1CB

Hi, Have this Wharfedale LT26KC1CB TV given as a scrapper.

It was turning on, red light only with no sound, vision nor back light. I changed the caps for Panasonic HC low ESR types as routine, problem still the same!  I noted the CPU was running warm in this state and also the tuner using... both a little 'hotter than warm' so to speak, the voltages seemed OK and appeared 'hash free'.

I suspected the MSD109CL main board, my guess at the time being CPU problems, maybe due to a voltage spike so left it for another day, which was today. Now the set comes on with the blue LED and no remote operation can anyone throw any light on this chassis, on this occasion I didn't bother to check the 12MHz cpu crystal but it was oscillating before.

I remember trying all sorts of tricks to reset the CPU but never had any luckl You can bet your bottom dollar if I 'clod it' another one will come my way - it happens time and time again!

Thanks, Dave
