Hi Keith and thanks,

Manual suggests a Main board Vcc short is likely - attach relevant page - had a look on the panel for R1614 near U157 - There's no pic of test points, just something green and unreadable, and resistor is prob on the underside so voltage checks problematical.  As a newish set sold for well under £100 - think to wait a week for the next one - hopefully a screen smash.

Not had much luck with LED backlight set repairs so far - Early days, I guess  - Chris.
