SHARP 20H-SC LIGHT BLINKS

My tv suddenly goes off and the power light starts blinking and when I hit it hard on both sides with my two hands it comes on and after sometime goes off again and again.I can fix it if you direct me on what to do.I feel like kicking it next time instead of using my hands.kind regards

Open and resolder vertical and bad contacts on board
