when switch on blue stnby light just flashes and can here power supply pulssing for few second then gose bck to blue light..check all caps nd for shorts in secondery side but all seem to be ok...plese can you help..

The set has a Vestel 17PW16.2 PSU. Check / Replace C877, C878, C801, C892, C817, C901, IC829 and Q809
