Samsung LN40A550P3F

No Power // Flashing Red LED // Power Supply has no bulging capacitors.

Am I missing something here? What else should I check?

Thanks in advance.

Hi,after changing the capacitors as indicated by Jordan,if there is still no power try to turn on the backlights without the main board's control;depending on the psu model number you should manage to light up the screen by shorting some pins on the 2 connectors leading to the main.this way you can decide if the main is ok or not.

Remember after lots of sammy psu repairs you need to reset the eeprom it seems to lock out when low voltages from duff caps are detected
seldom bested often bamboozled!
