Samsung LE32R73BD fault - dimming and bright ghosting after about 1hr

Hi, I'm trying to find out how to fix up a Samsung LE32R73BD which starts off fine but after about an hour or so gets a gradually darker picture and also has bright ghosting around moving images. Any input would be appreciated. I can use a soldering iron reasonably well and would rather replace components than whole boards if possible as money's tight at the moment. Any tips on troubleshooting this fault would be really welcome. Thanks in advance.

you could try the tcon but it looks like a screen fault
