toshiba 32xv505d
« on: August 17, 2012,01:00:56 »
Hi All.
I have a toshiba 32xv505d tv, when first switched on the logo for the channel being watched appears for a second then the picture goes off, the sound remains, a few weeks ago the screen kept on going off and this was traced to the multipin connector, this was cleaned and reinserted several times and all was well for a few weeks, the psu caps were checked at the same time and all are ok!Any ideas please.
Pete

I bit the bullet and stripped the set down to the driver pcb, what a sod to get to! Whatever happened to a chassis with pcb's that fitted to it that were accessable?
Anyway I resoldered all the transformer connections, checked the complete pcb for def. caps, dry joints etc, reassembled and tested, success! now ok.........
