The set has a shadow on the left side about 50mm from the edge, its like a tide line on the beach going down the screen.
Its only on fairly dark scenes

Can anyone point me in the direction to sort the problem?

Is the shadow always present on a fairly dark scene regardless of source in use, i.e. SCART, HDMI, PC, or Freeview?

Can you upload an image of the shadow? Make sure flash is off on the camera.

Yes it is there all the time, but the lady wanted the set back dont know why she had a bvought anopther one not Sanyo
