General lcd quiery

Hi,after finally sorting out my alba lcd set,for now,i noticed the screen getting warm,is this normal ? tbh never had a lcd,only the old crt's.

Quite normal, it's the CCFLs that do it, right behind the screen. Had a 60 inch Sharp today with LED backlights...screen and rear cover were at room temperature only....total power consumption as per label was 140W....bout the same as a CRT set.
