LG 37LH7000
« on: October 19, 2012,20:05:37 »
Hi
I have the wierdest fault with my LG 37LH7000.

If the tv is turned off for any major length of time, ie a day or more,
When it is powered up there is no picture, just a black screen, after a while a few lines begin to flicker at the top of the screen, eventually (after say 30 mins) the screen starts to display 1 frame about every 30 secs with a few lines updating correctly at the top of the screen, if left for an hour it eventually starts to update the picture correctly and the fault goes away.

I've checked all the power supply rails from a cold start and all are ok and stable, i have tried to find the fault once the tv has warmed up using freezer spray and cant seem to narrow it down at all.

Has anybody else had this fault?, any ideas what could cause this?

Thanks for any help, I'm baffled with this one.

Thanks I'll contact ohm and see which kit i need.

No wonder I couldn't find it by spraying the pcb's with freezer if its a screen contact problem.

Thanks for your help, I'll let you know how the repair goes
