hi guys..please can you help...got this set in today.when you plug it in theres no standby lights just a very small whinning sound for psu....i dont do mutch with sony....thanx chris.

Chassis SE1
No 5V standby voltage
Replace IC (STRA6169) and the five electlolytic capacitors around it (in standby supply)

Check IC-6001 (TL431)-primary PSU
Check JW-6022 (4,7R) in series between L-6005 and R-6001 (0R) near IC-6000
Replace fast recovery diode D-6202
