this set comes on with just backlight,no sound and nothing comming through scarts or sound...mad one...help !!!!!

just checked service manual, look for ic105 part number at24c512, bend a bit of wire solder it to pins 5/6 of the chip, then plug the power in to the tv don't switch it on let come on to standby count 2 seconds unplug it then cut the wire, if this don't work could try a reset in the service menu good luck
