lg 42lg3000 fault

lg 42lg3000  just got this set with fault.

when switched on  screen is black and gradually turns to white like in photos and when turned on sometimes black and white lines.

 i have also noticed theres like water type stains at bottom of the screen. you can see it in picture.

anyone any ideas what faults might be with this tv.

in the first picture at the bottom there are like water type stains running along the bottom of screen, im pretty sure this is not a t-con fault and pointing more towards the panel. i might be wrong through?

so im not sure if its worth reparing the t-con as i would think you would see them water type stains once picture if present.

Have you tried taking the lead out of the tcon?

no as i do not have the set just yet. do you think them water type shadowy stains you can see at bottom of the screen in the picture i posted ( first picture, with colored lines ) is a t-con fault?

well i have not come across a t-con fault yet that shows this problem.

maybe someone else has?
