Sony KDLS40A12U Memory Loss

Hello can anyone help please Sony KDLS40A12U in the workshop the fault is every time the tv is switched off the customer has to do a re tune (the fault it looses whats been programed when the power is switched off) hope someone can help and thank you in advance

hi, i haven't repaired many sony's you could try eprom reset or software up date, i'm just guessing sorry

 Hi advise you check for poor or bulging "electrolytic capacitors" in the power supply secondrys.Also go into service menu & do a Factory Reset.Click on the link (or copy/paste it) Its for "electrotanya" a free site for service manuals.Your model is not listed but i think the Wax 3 chass will be near enough.
